IUP stays hot with sweep, Pikula sets record
CALIFORNIA, Pa. — The IUP softball team capped a 4-0 day for the Crimson Hawks' diamond sports with a sweep of California (Pa.), outscoring the Vulcans 15-4 across two games in 10-3 and 5-1 victories. The highlight of the day came from senior second baseman Madison Pikula, who set the program record with her 19th career triple on a line drive to left field in the second inning.
