Hawks Fall to Seawolves in Series Opener
WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ. Monmouth softball fell 9–3 to Stony Brook in the opening game of their weekend series against the Seawolves on Friday. Stony Brook set the tone early, scoring a run in each of the first three innings and capitalizing on a Monmouth error to take an early lead. The Seawolves continued to apply pressure throughout the game, finishing with nine runs on 11 hits.
