Hawks Fall to Seawolves in Series Opener
WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ. Monmouth softball fell 9鈥�3 to Stony Brook in the opening game of their weekend series against the Seawolves on Friday. Stony Brook set the tone early, scoring a run in each of the first three innings and capitalizing on a Monmouth error to take an early lead. The Seawolves continued to apply pressure throughout the game, finishing with nine runs on 11 hits.
