NEW LONDON, Conn. 鈥� The United States Coast Guard Academy softball team earned a pair of one-run wins against New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foes Wheaton College on Friday, April 10th. The Bears walked off the first game for a 4-3 win before hanging on for a 5-4 result in game two. Coast Guard improves to 12-8 on the season and 6-2 in conference play, while the Lyons move to 11-9 overall and 2-4 against NEWMAC opponents.
