Evangel Softball Travels to Kansas for Doubleheader with Bethany on Saturday
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. 鈥� The 13th-ranked Evangel Softball program travels to Lindsborg, Kan., on Saturday (Apr. 11) afternoon, taking on the Bethany College Swedes for a KCAC doubleheader. First pitch for Evangel’s matchup with the Swedes is set for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. SERIES HISTORY Evangel leads Bethany, 4-0, in the all-time series, taking road wins last season, 12-4 and 12-5. OPENING STORYLINES Kenna Mayfield currently leads Evangel in most offensive categories, swinging a .464 bat while also stealing 45 bases (3rd most in nation) and scoring 40 runs.
