Concord Claims Runner-Up at Home Meet
Results ATHENS, W.Va. 鈥� The Concord University men’s track & field team was second at the Concord Open Friday at Callaghan Stadium. The Mountain Lions tallied 114 points and was edged by Bluefield State who scored 126 points. Among the top performances were four individual event wins for Concord. In the 5,000-meter run, CU secured the top four spots and five of the top eight. Junior Bramley Childress ran a career-best time of 15:11.98 to win the event.
