Colonels Falter at Home vs Gordon
Milton, MA – The Curry College baseball team fell to Gordon, 18-3, on Thursday afternoon at Jack Vallely Diamond. Curry (6-11, 4-3) struck first in the second inning, taking a 1-0 lead when Joey Kazlauskas drove in Blake Fuller with a groundout. The lead held until the fourth inning, when Gordon (8-16, 2-5) erupted for nine runs to take control of the game. The Fighting Scots used a combination of timely hitting and extra-base power in the fourth, highlighted by a grand slam from Gabe Fales, to build a 9-1 advantage.
