Berthold First in Heptathlon Following Day One; Saints Sit Fourth at RPI
Amelia Berthold is atop the multi standings for the St. Lawrence University’s women’s track and field team following day one at the RPI Under the Lights Invite. The team currently sits fourth in the standings after day one of the outdoor meet in Troy, N.Y., with three events still to come in the heptathlon alone. She won the heptathlon’s high jump with a leap for 1.51 meters, and had personl-best outings in the 100-meter hurdles, shot put, and the 200-meter dash to lead her team’s outing following the opening day of competition.
