Baseball: Sasso Deals, Golden Wolves Down Eagles, 10-2
Reading, Pa. (April 10, 2026) – Alvernia University (13-16, 5-8) took down Eastern University (20-9, 7-6), 10-2, Friday evening to take game one of the MAC Commonwealth baseball series down in Angelica Park. The Golden Wolves got a terrific outing from starter Chris Sasso who tossed 7.2 innings of one run baseball, scattered four hits and struck out six batters. The Alvernia offense provided Sasso with run support from the jump with two runs in the first and third innings to give the senior lefthander a 4-0 lead.
