Baseball Drops Opener at SFA
NACOGDOCHES 鈥� After a rain delay of 1:37 prior to first pitch, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team fell to the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks 7-2 on Friday at Pilgrim’s Park. In the second, the Vaqueros (14-19, 9-10 SLC) put runners at first and second with one out against Cody Templeton (4-0), setting up an RBI-double by graduate student PSJA alum Diego Villescas and an RBI-groundout by senior Hank Warren to make the score 2-0.
