PALESTINE – A large flock of Rusk Eagles will be taking part in the District 17/18 Area Championships late next week. The Eagles qualified student athletes in 10 events, including all three of the school’s relay teams – the 4X400 Meter Relay unit won the gold medal at the district meet, while both the 4X100 Meter and the 4X200 Meter squads finishing as the runner-ups.
