HALLSVILLE – Canaan Dennis won first place in the 100 Meter Dash and in the 200 Meter Dash at the District 10-5A Track and Field Championships. The Jacksonville senior posted winning times of 10.65 seconds and 21.71, respectively. J’Braelyn Jimenez also earned a trip to the upcoming Area championships by coming in second place in the 200 Meter Dash, stopping the timer on 22.00.
