Vanderbilt baseball lands commitment from Siegel pitcher Jaxon Barrett
Vanderbilt baseball has landed a commitment from Siegel junior pitcher Jaxon Barrett, who announced his decision on X on April 9. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Barrett, who suffered a season-ending lower body injury in a March 27 Warrior Spring Classic game against Beaver Creek (Ohio), was one of Siegel's top players before the injury. On the mound he had not allowed a run in 22 innings, allowing just seven hits and four walks while striking out 46.
