BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — B-CU track & field received two SWAC weekly awards this week following a strong showing at the Embry Riddle Classic. Kasie Ugeh was named women's field athlete of the week while Sha'Nard Walker was recognized as this week's track athlete of the week on the men's side. The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced the winners Thursday afternoon from the league headquarters in Birmingham. This is the third award received by Bethune-Cookman for the outdoor track season.
