Southwestern Sweeps Kansas Christian in Home Doubleheader
WINFIELD, Kan. 鈥� Southwestern picked up a pair of wins Thursday, sweeping a nonconference doubleheader from Kansas Christian at the Broadway Sports Complex. The Moundbuilders opened the day with a 12-9 victory in a high-scoring Game 1 before completing the sweep with a win in the nightcap. In the opener, Southwestern used a pair of big innings to overcome an early deficit. Kansas Christian struck first with three runs across the second and third innings, but the Moundbuilders answered in the fourth.
