Softball cruises past Ohio Wesleyan
MARIETTA, Ohio 鈥� Marietta College swept a nonconference softball doubleheader from Ohio Wesleyan University Thursday (Apr. 9) afternoon at Arbuckle Field. The Pioneers won game one, 14-2 in five innings, and completed the sweep with a 10-3 win in game two. Marietta improves to 16-12, while Ohio Wesleyan falls to 4-18 on the season. The Pioneers scored in every inning in the first game. Emilie Johnson (Lucasville, Ohio/Valley) started the fireworks with a solo home run to centerfield in the bottom of the first.
