Saenz Earns First Career SLIAC Softball Hitter of the Week Selection
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has released the names of the student-athletes who were named Player of the Week(s) for their respective competing sport for the week of March 30 – April 5. WU’s Vanessa Saenz was named the SLIAC Hitter of the Week for softball. Last week, Webster traveled to Principia College for a conference doubleheader where Saenz went 6-for-7 (.857 batting average) that included three singles, two triples, and a double.
