Rudolph named finalist for WHL Defenceman of the Year
In just his second WHL season, Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Daxon Rudolph has been named a finalist for the Bill Hunter Memorial Trophy for WHL Defenceman of the Year. Rudolph led the Raiders in scoring in the 2025-26 regular season, scoring 28 goals and adding 50 assists for 78 points. His 28 goals tied Josh Morrissey for the most goals by a Raiders defenceman in a single season in franchise history. He scored 13 powerplay goals this season, setting a new record by a Raiders defenceman in a single campaign. Overall, 35 of Rudolph鈥檚 78 points came on the powerplay....
