RUSK – Rusk ace Ross Davis pitched a complete game two hitter and the Eagles went on to steamroll Bullard 9-0 Tuesday night at Eagle Park. Rusk plated all of its runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Davis, a San Jacinto College signee, struck out 14 Panthers and walked three. The win was Rusk’s first in league play, while the loss was the Panthers’ first in district action. Rusk collected five hits in the game and also benefited from nine walks.
