Raiders Fall Late at William Paterson
WAYNE, N.J. — The Rutgers-Newark baseball team fell 6-5 on the road to William Paterson in NJAC action on Thursday afternoon at Jeff Albies Field. The Scarlet Raiders (10-15, 2-5 NJAC) jumped out to an early lead in the top of the first inning, as RBI from Joseph Bernardo and RJ Kernan made it 2-0. William Paterson responded in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game before taking the lead in the fourth.
