Piccoli Earns Golfer of the Week as Knights Boast Impressive Weekend
BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- FDU’s Pietro Maria Piccoli was named the NEC Men’s Golfer of the Week per a conference release. The freshman improved as the week progressed, shooting +2, -1, and -2 through three rounds at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge. Piccoli ended with a -1 finish, in which he was tied at thirteenth on the individual leaderboard. As a team, the Knights finished 7th of the 16 competing teams. This week, Piccoli is joined by fellow Men’s Golf Prime Performers Matus Kudlac , Jorday Kyaw, and Shreyas Sanmathy . FDU’s Abbey Baker and Michelle Yang highlights the Women’s Golf Prime Performers.
