Outdoor Track & Field Returns to Competition at Cactus Cup
KINGSVILLE, Texas 鈥� After three weeks of training without a competition since the outdoor season opener, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros track & field team returns to action Friday and Saturday to take on Texas A&M Kingsville’s Cactus Cup at Javelina Stadium. The meet will primarily take place on Saturday outside of three events. Friday’s action gets started at 4 p.m. with javelin and hammer throw, and the men’s and women’s 5,000-meter races will run starting at 7 p.m. Saturday kicks off at 12 p.m. with field events and track events will commence at 3 p.m.…
