Nabwe Leads Bison Women on Day One of Heptathlon
AZUSA, Calif. – Sophomore Yolanda Nabwe led the North Dakota State University women competing in the heptathlon on the first day of the Bryan Clay Multis on Thursday. Nabwe (Jamestown, N.D.) recorded 3,051 points through the first four events of the heptathlon. Sophomore Rylee Johnson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) scored 2,954 points to stand as the No. 2 Bison after the opening day. Bison junior Sophia Truscott has 2,844 points through four events, and sophomore Paige Halder is close behind at 2,843 points.
