Men’s Tennis Celebrates Seniors with Sweep of Lynchburg
FARMVILLE, Va. — The Longwood men's tennis team shut out Lynchburg, 7-0, Thursday on the New Lancer Courts. Longwood dropped just one set on a day the Lancers celebrated their five seniors — Ryan Foster, Gary Huang, Rufus Plane, Timéo Puech and Alejandro Uribe. Longwood (11-5) took the doubles point by winning on courts two, three and one, respectively. First, Huang and Plane topped Alexandre Gaboardi and Daniel Gomes, 6-1, before Foster and Puech beat Alvaro Quiroga Amaya and Patricio Zepeda, 6-2.
