Loras Drops Rainy Match to Cornell College
DUBUQUE, Iowa 鈥� The Loras College women’s tennis team was plagued by weather in a 4-0 loss to the Cornell College Rams on Thursday afternoon. The match between the two squads was cut short due to rain. Cornell was able to secure the first point of the match after sweeping all three matches in doubles play. Only three matches were completed in singles play with the Rams taking all three. Alexis Tatum fell at No. 2, 6-0, 6-2, while Megan Covelli dropped her match at No. 3, 6-3, 6-0.
