Little’s Walk-Off Single Leads to Split with King’s
Scranton, Pa.- The Marywood University softball team earned a nonconference split Wednesday afternoon as they defeated King’s College 5-4 in walk-off fashion in the first game, followed by a 6-3 defeat in game two. Game One: King’s 4, Marywood 5 Trailing 4–0 after three innings, Marywood steadily chipped away before pushing across the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. King’s struck early, plating three runs in the second inning on RBI plays from Makenzie Johnson, Brianna Kesslick, and Kara Krouse.
