Lawrence Battles but Comes Up Short at Carthage
Kenosha, Wisconsin — The Lawrence University men’s tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Carthage College on Wednesday in nonconference action. Carthage took control early by sweeping doubles play to earn the opening point. At No. 1 doubles, Finnian Morris and Diego Silva topped Gabriel Garcia and William Phillips, 6-1. William Reichen and Benjamin Hoppe delivered Lawrence’s closest doubles result at No. 2 before falling 6-4 to Luca Okino and Victor Pimenta.
