CHARLOTTE, N.C. — High Point University's Makayla Grubb has earned a weekly honor for the ninth time this season as she was named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week on Thursday by the league office. It is her seventh Big South Freshman of the Week accolade to pair with two Big South Golfer of the Week awards.
