GOLDEN, Colo. – Chayton Bynes had two top-two finishes, Courtney Williams leads the decathlon halfway through and Chadron State dominated the women’s hammer throw and men’s 200 meters on day one of the Mines Midweek & Multi on Wednesday. Bynes shared a triple jump event win with Northern Colorado’s Kaliff Guevara. Both jumpers leapt 15.03 meters (49 feet, 3.75 inches), with Bynes hitting that exact mark twice on his fifth and sixth jumps. Bynes’s outdoor season best is 15.73 meters (51-7.25), which also ranks No. 2 in Division II this season. Bynes also came second in the long jump event.…
