Baseball Shut Out to Open Showdown at Cal State LA
LOS ANGELES -- Five days after scoring a dozen runs in a win to close the last series, Cal State Dominguez Hills was held scoreless in a fast-paced 2-0 setback at host and crosstown-rival Cal State LA in a 2:36 minute contest. The Toros managed six hits but committed three errors as starting pitcher Jordan Townley took the hard-luck loss to fall to 2-3 overall, despite fanning six Golden Eagles. More to follow.
