Assistant Coach Dan Darrow Named Assistant Coach for U.S. Under-18 Men鈥檚 National Team
LOWELL, Mass. 鈥� UMass Lowell ice hockey assistant coach Dan Darrow has been named an assistant coach for the U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team at the 2026 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship, USA Hockey announced Thursday. This marks Darrow's second stint with the program, having served in the same role on the 2023 team that won a gold medal. The 2026 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship begins April 22 in Trencin and Bratislava, Slovakia. Team USA opens the tournament against Czechia and will face the rest of Group B鈥擟zechia, Denmark, Germany, and Sweden鈥攊n Bratislava.
