Allen Connects for 100th Hit in WestConn Softball鈥檚 Sweep at Purchase
PURCHASE, N.Y. 鈥� Kendall Allen (Naugatuck, Conn.) recorded her 100th career hit after connecting for three in the Western Connecticut State University softball team’s doubleheader road sweep over Purchase College on Thursday. The Wolves nabbed a dominant 9-1 win in game one after six innings, ignited by a three-run bomb in the first inning off the bat of Allen and a come-from-behind game two victory, 6-4, in the eighth inning.
