Wesley Bird Herald Staff [email protected] The Burgin Bulldogs softball team (0-6) lost 1-16 to the Danville Admirals (10-2) on the road Monday, April 6. Burgin鈥檚 lone run was scored by Baleigh Thompson in the third inning on a line drive to center field from fellow Sophomore Leah Jenkins. Senior Ashton Jenkins started the game pitching for the Bulldogs and Jenkins was replaced on the bump in the bottom of the first inning.
