Women鈥檚 tennis upsets No.11 Wingate for highest ranked win in program history
Wingate, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's tennis team took down No. 11 Wingate 4-2 on Wednesday for the highest ranked win in program history. This doubled as the first Bear victory over the Bulldogs in their DII history. The Bears got a key doubles point with the doubles pairings of Mehetia Boosie / Runa Muderrisoglu and Alexa Allison / Nellie Wahlberg winning at the No. 2 and 3 positions. The Bears continued thatt momentum into singles play, with Nellie Wahlberg (3), Mehetia Boosie (5), and Disha Khandoji (6) winning their matches.
