Women鈥檚 tennis ranked 61st in ITA rankings
TEMPE, Ariz. 鈥� Averett University women’s tennis jumped up 11 spots from last week, as the Cougars now ranked at no. 61 nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) rankings released on Wednesday. Averett (10-2, 6-1 ODAC) has won eight straight, and haven’t lost since mid-March. The Cougars picked up two more road wins at Randolph College and Davis & Elkins College in the past few days, and remain second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) standings.
