Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Drops Road Conference Game at Brockport
BROCKPORT, NY 鈥� The Alfred University women's lacrosse team fell in Empire 8 action on Wednesday evening on the road at SUNY Brockport, 16-3. The Saxons (5-4, 2-2 Empire 8) were the first on the board when Sydney Angelo (Windsor, NY/Windsor Central) scored less than two minutes in from the first whistle on a free position attempt. She tacked on a second score after the Golden Eagles (7-4, 3-1 Empire 8) scored the equalizer less than a minute of the first goal.
