Women鈥檚 Golf鈥檚 Consistency Leads to Top Five Effort at Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge
RESULTS MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's Women's Golf team's consistency, with three sub-300 rounds, led to the Eagles tying for fifth place among 19 teams competing at this week's Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Pawley's Island, S.C. The event was at the par-71, 6,082-yard Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. MSU shot 299-293-294--886 to tie with former Ohio Valley Conference school Jacksonville State. Another former OVC program, albeit departing the league prior to MSU sponsoring women's golf - Middle Tennessee, ended up with the team title by three strokes over second-place Coastal Carolina.
