Williams Falls to Skidmore in Home Opener
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – The Williams College baseball team dropped its home opener to Skidmore College, 8-3, on Wednesday afternoon. Skidmore opened the scoring in the third inning with a sacrifice fly before adding to its lead in the fifth. The Thoroughbreds capitalized on a series of opportunities, plating four runs in the inning, several unearned, to extend the advantage to 5-0. Skidmore continued to add on in the sixth and seventh innings, pushing the lead to 7-0.
