Westminster earns PAC sweep of W&J
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.–The Westminster baseball team claimed a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) sweep of 19th-ranked Washington & Jefferson Wednesday afternoon, rolling to a 4-0 victory in game one before freshman Breckin Minich’s (New Bethlehem, Pa., Redbank Valley) walk-off RBI base hit in the 11th keyed the Titans’ 4-3 triumph in the nightcap. Westminster ran its overall record to 18-6 while pushing its conference record to 9-1. It was the program’s first doubleheader sweep of W&J since April 12, 2003.
