WestConn Softball Splits At Farmingdale State
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Sophomore Julia Valukis (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) had two hits in each game, including a double, a triple, two runs, and an RBI in game one, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves split a softball doubleheader against the Farmingdale State College Rams this afternoon. WestConn won the first game, 13-5, and lost the second, 5-2. The Wolves, now 5-13, will hit the road against tomorrow when they play two at SUNY Purchase at 3 p.m. The Rams’ record moves to 8-10.
