PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Women's Soccer forward Angelina Vargas '27 was called up to the Dominican Republic Women's Soccer National team during the third window of Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) World Cup Qualifiers for Brazil 2027. Vargas will compete with la República Dominicana against Haiti on April 17 at Stade Roger Zami at 8 p.m. local time. Vargas' grandparents are from the Dominican Republic.
