University of Minnesota senior standout Cade Tyson (Monroe, N.C.) has been selected to participate in the 72nd-annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, April 15-18 in Portsmouth, Va., announced by the organizing committee. Tyson is one of 64 men's basketball seniors selected for the event, which serves as a scouting tool for professional basketball aspirations. Tyson completed his collegiate career at Minnesota this past season and established 1621 points, made 213 three-pointers and 528 rebounds in 124 college games.
