Troy Elgersma Earns Call-Up to LA Galaxy for Concacaf Champions Cup
LOS ANGELES - Former American University men's soccer midfielder Troy Elgersma has signed a short-term agreement with the LA Galaxy, moving him from MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Ventura County FC to the MLS side ahead of the Galaxy's 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinal first leg match against Deportivo Toluca FC on Wednesday, April 8 at 8 p.m. The call-up is Elgersma's first, making him the 15th player in program history to sign with an MLS club.
