Statesmen smash records in runaway win over Fredonia
GOWANDA, N.Y.— The Hobart baseball team shattered several records, including the program mark for runs in a game, in a 25-0 win over SUNY Fredonia this afternoon. The offensive explosion included 16 hits, seven doubles, a home run, 15 walks, and 10 hit-by-pitch. Hobart’s pitching staff matched its season-high with 11 strikeouts, while posting its third shutout of the season.
