Softball Splits with Roanoke on the Road
SALEM, Va. – William Peace softball split a non conference doubleheader at Roanoke on Wednesday, falling in the opener before bouncing back in game two to move to 15-15 on the season. In the first game, the Pacers dropped a close 4-3 game despite a late rally in the sixth. Roanoke took an early lead with two runs in the first inning and added two more in the fifth to go in front 4-0. Peace responded with three runs to generate a come back.
