Softball Falls in Midweek Tilt Versus Delaware
VILLANOVA, Pa. — The Villanova softball team fell 5-2 to Delaware Wednesday at the Villanova Softball Complex. Carly Zych (L, 2-4) took the loss for the 'Cats (8-31), pitching three innings, striking out one, walking one and giving up two runs on four hits. The Blue Hens (20-19) took the lead in the first inning on a solo home run. The score remained 1-0 until the third, when Delaware scored on an RBI single.
