Softball: Cortland Splits Pair of 1-0 Decisions vs. Visiting RPI
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Cortland softball team split a non-league doubleheader at home versus RPI, winning the first game, 1-0, before losing the second game, 1-0 in eight innings. Both Cortland (13-6) and RPI (14-6) were NCAA qualifiers last year and competed in the same regional at Rowan University. Cortland defeated the Engineers in an elimination game at that regional to avenge a sweep by RPI at home during the regular season.
