The girls soccer team at Greenville High School has a 5-5 record after playing several games the last week. Playing in the Litchfield Purple Panther Classic, the Lady Comets fell to Staunton, Breese Central and Hillsboro. After a 6-0 loss to Staunton, the next two games were close. Breese Central led 2-1 at halftime and neither team scored in the second half. Emma Veith booted the GHS goal, with an assist from Haylee Hediger. Maddie Beckert made seven saves in goal.
