Saints Drop Midweek Contest in Southern Tier
Binghamton scored five runs apiece in both the second and fourth innings to run-rule Siena Baseball 11-1 in seven in the Southern Tier. Binghamton (14-13, 6-3) managed just six hits, but worked seven walks and took advantage of three errors spanning their six innings at bat. The Bearcats lone hit of the tone-setting second inning was a two-run single by Tommy Popoff to cap the scoring, while Andrew Heppner finished the decisive fourth with a three-run home run.
