Rhett Hughes Named MIAA Men’s Golfer of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Oklahoma sophomore Rhett Hughes was named MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week for the second week in a row, the league announced Wednesday. Hughes, who is from Edmond, won the Firekeeper Open in Mayetta, Kansas this week, earning his first career title with a win on the first playoff hole. He tied for first with a 54-hole 210, then beat Washburn's Myles Tarvin in a playoff to win the tournament.
