Nadiya Hairston Honored as Conference Carolinas Winter Scholar-Athlete of the Year
GREENVILLE, S.C. 鈥� Conference Carolinas has announced its 2025-26 Winter Scholar-Athletes of the Year Presented by Hudl and Lees-McRae women's basketball junior Nadiya Hairston has earned the distinction on Wednesday. The Scholar-Athlete awards Presented by Hudl are awarded annually to one individual in each Conference Carolinas sponsored sport. The Scholar-Athlete of the Year winners are chosen by the Conference Carolinas Student-Athlete Affairs and Awards Committee. Hairston, a Winston-Salem, North Carolina native, led the Bobcats to a historic season after capturing the program's first Conference Carolinas title and made their first appearance in the NCAA Southeast Regional in program history.
